Registrations are now open for the 5th DPS conference in Leiden! 

After four successful editions of the DPS conference, we are thrilled to invite all members of the Dutch Parkinson Scientists to the 5^th DPS conference, taking place on Friday October 31^st 2025 in Leiden.

The theme of this year is ‘Beyond the brain: the microbial link to Parkinson’s disease’. We have invited Filip Scheperjans the from Helsinki University Central Hospital, Finland as keynote speaker to give an exciting talk on this topic. The rest of the day will feature poster presentations, talks from Dutch research centers, and enough time to connect with fellow researchers.

In addition, all junior members are invited to also join the pre-conference on Thursday October 30^th 2025, 13:00-17:30h. After the junior event, all members are invited to join us for dinner in the city center of Leiden. The costs for the dinner are included in the fee for the conference.

All researchers joining the conference are invited to submit an abstract, also if your work is not directly related to the theme. Registrations are open until September 7th, 2025 (with abstract) or October 1^st 2025 (without abstract).
