Preconference Junior DPS November 3rd
On November 4th 2022, the second annual Dutch Parkinson’s Scientists Congress will take place, organized by University Medical Center Groningen. The Junior committee of DPS is excited to announce that on November 3rd we have prepared the Preconference Junior DPS Day!
On November 3rd 2022, all early career scientists (PhD students, research assistants, junior scientists, early-postdocs, etc.) are invited to join us at the UMC Groningen, ERIBA building, to acquaint themselves with the theme: Junior’s moving together: ‘Interdisciplinary collaborations in the field of Parkinsonism’. There will be interactive talks with funding agencies (ParkinsonNL) and patient researchers (ParkinsonVereniging). Attendees will then get the opportunity to discuss about interdisciplinary research regarding Parkinson’s disease, i.e. wet-lab, the clinic, experience experts, and industry. This will be done by developing your own interdisciplinary research proposal in small groups. At the end of the day, we will celibrate with drinks and dinner in Groningen city! All in all, a unique opportunity to practice some grant writing/research proposal skills as early career researcher and an effective way to connect with Parkinson researchers from all over the Netherlands!
Sign up for the congres and convince your colleagues to participate.
We hope to see you all there!
